Giving Thanks at Lynmar
“Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds.” – Theodore Roosevelt.
During this season of Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for at Lynmar.
For Jason, Victor, Alfonso, Elias, Jose, Jaime and Ramon, our excellent vineyard crew, who joyfully planted 14,714 vines at Adam’s Vineyard and tended 124,416 Estate vines at Quail Hill and Susanna’s vineyards. For a bountiful harvest, where the combination of season, soil, and hard work provided us with 224 tons of exceptional grapes.
For a safe harvest season with no injuries to anyone as they worked 1,000+ hours in the vineyard and winery.
For Shane, Pete, Alex, Choco and our winery interns, who looked after two vintages, tenderly watching over one while crushing another.
For Erin, Jason, Aaron, Pam, Peter, Ryan, Jackie and Jordan, who kept our Tasting Room open seven days a week, working hard with their hearts and minds engaged to ensure the 25,000 people who visited us had a great time. For Elizabeth and Lori, who ensured that our wine club members received their shipments on time at the right place and who managed a plethora of special requests with a smile.
For Nancy, who coordinated events in-house and for our customers, who went above and beyond each time.
For Eytan, Christa, Justino, Saul and Luis, whose creativity and toil created visually inspiring gardens that fed us.For Gerardo and Luis, the caretakers of our estate who chopped limbs, fixed leaks, and managed our infrastructure over the year so we could work worry-free.
For Rocio, Maria and Luga in housekeeping, who made sure that our Riedel glasses, offices and public spaces sparkled 365 days of the year.
For Christine, Candi and Liz, who made sure we complied with regulations, paid our staff and vendors and received accurate payments for what we sold in addition to solving new problems each day.
For Patrick, whose creativity and talent nurtures our communications and design projects on-site and online, delighting our staff and customers alike. For David, Christina, Rod, Frieda and Roxanne, who produced 2,000+ delicious picnics and exceptional epicurean experiences which allowed our guests to have special moments with their friends and family.
For Amanda, who photographed Lynmar and Cory, who made sure our computers worked and all of our vendors, who are like family to us.
For our wonderful community of advocates and friends, who enjoy the product of our labor and share themselves with us.
“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.” – Cicero
